There are a number of colleges around Scotland that have a great deal of experience starting out with Erasmus+, so it may be worthwhile to contact one of these and if your college hasn’t already done so join CDN’s International Network.

Top Tips for starting with Erasmus+

• read the contract
• read the Project & Financial Management Handbook
• use partnership agreements
• take minutes of meetings
• know the rules
• keep in touch with the National Agency
• make sure you have the resources in place to write your application and support your Erasmus+ activity
• get the paper work right from the start so that you get it right for audit
• Forge the right partnerships.
