UHI Orkney

About us

UHI Orkney is a small but vibrant college with campuses in Kirkwall and Stromness. It is a very active partner in the University of the Highlands and Islands and able to offer a wide range of courses spanning the entire Scottish Credit and Qualification Framework. In practice that means all levels of qualifications from working with school pupils through to postgraduate research.

Through its various departments, UHI Orkney provides a wide range of subjects to choose from. Departments include:

Courses can be studied in various modes of attendance such as full-time, part-time, day release and distance learning. UHI Orkney also offers a comprehensive short course programme and provides a range of certificated and non-certificated evening classes.
